Because

1. do you watch any other similar “criminal series” like CSI or something? Well, i apparently don’t. But  after -like- 10 minutes you CAN figure out who the killer was and HOW he did it. Try that while watching Sherlock. You want Sherlock to figure it out because you don’t expect to be smarter than Sherlock
2. It’s hilarious. The conversations are great. For example:
   Sherlock: Here John. Have a nice hot cup of coffee.
   Watson: It’s cold.
   Sherlock: Have a nice cup of coffee
   Watson: It’s awful.
   Sherlock: Have a cup of coffee
   Watson: I Don’t even think that’s coffee.
   Sherlock: Have a cup.
   
   
3. The relationship between Watson and Sherlock. Oh, how i love it when John says: I’m not gay(oo his little girlfriends who can’t compete with sherlock). & why do they do it(and by then i mean the play writers) ? Because they know what’s going on in the minds of the Sherlockians and they let them be “a part of it”. Do you know what i am talking about???
   
   and last but not least
4.  BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH
   i mean: just look at him. He is such a handsome man(even though he looks strange and kinda like an otter) It’s a hm…. how should i say it… special kind of beauty ? 
   But he’s not just looks and great smiles he’s muuuuuuch more than that. Benedict is a brilliant actor. You always start feeling sympathy for the roles he plays. i am SOOOO looking forward to watch “Hawking” but i’m waiting(even though it’s killing me inside) because i wanna watch it with a friend of mine. GOD, two of my favorite things combined. But…. “WIR SCHWEIFEN AB” (©PetGu)
